How Cobos Insurance Helps Protect Ohio Non-Profits
Our motto on non-profit insurance is “helping you, so you can help others.” We believe that we are one of the best to do this because of the way we truly care about each individual non-profit that we provide coverage for. We work with you and your non-profit to determine what you need and to come up with a plan to help your non-profit succeed and stay protected, no matter what may come up. In order to understand how cobos insurance helps protect Ohio non-profits, it is important to know why your nonprofit needs insurance. We provide many different types of Ohio Non-Profit insurance coverages including property insurance, cyber liability insurance, auto insurance, crime coverage, worker’s compensation or accident insurance, general liability insurance, professional liability insurance, directors and officers insurance, and more. By learning more about what each type of coverage does, you’ll have a better understanding of how Cobos Insurance helps protect the Ohio non-profits that we work with. Cyber Liability Insurance: In today’s environment, everything is digital. Your non-profit likely keeps a lot of its information on computers and online. From payroll information to online payments or donations, most non-profits and companies in general have most of their information and do most of their business online. As convenient as this is, it can lead to huge cyber liability risks. People today are easily able to hack into things and to access and exploit private information. With cyber hacking happening so often, it is important to have this coverage in place for your non-profit. Property Insurance: If your non-profit has any physical property, this is vital and it is one very important way in which cobos insurance helps protect Ohio non-profits. From fires to theft, your property is likely very important to your non-profit and to how it functions. Something like a theft or a fire could take your non-profit out for a short while or maybe even forever if you do not have the proper coverage in order to get back on your feet. General Liability Insurance: General liability insurance is the umbrella policy that every non-profit needs. This policy offers different types of coverage, from body injury claims to copyright infringement. This means that if your nonprofit is sued because of someone being injured by your product, etc., this policy will make sure that your nonprofit is protected. By having this coverage in place, your nonprofit doesn’t have to worry about going under due to a lawsuit. This is one of the most important nonprofit coverages that we offer because it does multiple things and offers multiple protections in one policy. This coverage plays a big part in understanding how cobos insurance helps protect Ohio non-profits. Directors and Officers Insurance: Directors and officers insurance is self explanatory, as it protects the directors and officers in your company. If one of the directors or officers at your non-profit were to make a mistake with money or invest in something that turned out to be a big loss, this policy would protect the directors and officers as individuals. This could also include things like criminal investigations. So how does this play into how cobos insurance helps protect Ohio non-profits? Regardless of the situation your directors or officers are in, having this policy in place gives the people that are higher up and a vital part of your company that feeling of safety, knowing that the owners of the non-profit they work at care about them and have policies in place to ensure their safety. This allows them to work more efficiently and have less to worry about. Worker’s Compensation or Accident Insurance: This coverage is another big part of how cobos insurance helps protect Ohio non-profits. Employees can make or break a company, which is why it is so important to make sure that they are properly protected. Not only that, but you also want to look into this coverage to protect your non-profit, as well. If one of your employees gets injured on the job, your non-profit could end up having to pay legal fees, medical bills, you name it. If you have proper worker’s compensation or accident insurance in place, then you won’t have to worry about all of the unnecessary lawsuits and medical bills. Auto Insurance: Listen up, anyone whose non-profit has a vehicle… you definitely want to make sure you keep all company vehicles protected. The last thing that you would want to happen is an accident involving an employee and a company car. Medical bills, car repair costs, and more could cost your non-profit a lot. Having this coverage in place will save you time, money, and a headache. Crime Coverage: As much as we all would like to think that our employees are great and would never do anything wrong, the truth is that sometimes they do. One example of this could be theft. In cases where an employee were to steal a large amount of money, you would definitely be grateful for this coverage that would essentially save your business. The reason that we bring this up in an article about how cobos insurance helps protect Ohio non-profits is because crime can be a huge problem within nonprofits, especially those that deal with large sums of money. These are some of the many options we have here at Cobos Insurance to fit your nonprofit's needs. It is important to keep in mind that we have other options as well and that the best next step would be to get in touch with us and talk about what your non-profit needs specifically.

Why You Need Cleveland Motorcycle Insurance
For some, a motorcycle is a passage into adulthood, while for others, it is a hobby that they take up once they leave behind the office job for a life of retirement. Motorcycles bring a great amount of joy to their enthusiasts. Motorcycles are a pretty big investment into something that, for some, it provides transportation, and for others, it provides a bit of excitement and gives them something fun to do on the weekends. With that being said, it is important to protect this motorcycle that costs a pretty large sum of money, gets you to where you want to go, and brings you joy. It is important to protect your motorcycle, but what is equally as important is to know why you need Cleveland motorcycle insurance. Going along with that, it is also very important to identify specifically what coverages that you, as an individual, want and or need. We hope that this article does just that and is able to break down the different types of coverages in easy-to-understand terms. First and foremost, it is important to realize that not only will you want to think about getting motorcycle insurance, you actually might need to. Motorcycle insurance is required in all states except New Hampshire. If you’re not in New Hampshire (probably Cleveland if you’re reading this), you obviously will need to get coverage for your motorcycle, but even so, you may be wondering why. If you’re in Cleveland, you may be wondering why you should get motorcycle insurance. We are here to help you with those questions. We decided to go ahead and break down the top and more basic reasons why your motorcycle needs insurance. You may find yourself in a situation where you caused damages or injuries to someone else. Picture this: you’re driving your motorcycle on a sunny sunday afternoon without a care in the world and your favorite song at the moment comes on the radio. You’re enjoying the breeze, the beat, and life in general. The next thing you know, you realize that you didn’t see the car that you are quickly approaching who is stopped at a red light. You don’t have time to stop or even swerve, so you crash right into the back of the car. Because the accident was unfortunately your fault, if you were uninsured, you would end up paying medical bills, car damages, and anything else that would arise. This is where liability insurance comes in. Liability insurance will keep you covered in cases where you may have damaged a car, another motorcycle, or even a building. It will also deal with the other person’s injuries and protect you from being sued. These are all great reasons for why your motorcycle needs insurance, as accidents do happen, and in these cases, you could find yourself in a deep hole of bills and lawsuits. These are bills and lawsuits that can easily be avoided by simply getting liability insurance in place. This is one huge reason why your motorcycle needs insurance, and why it is important to understand what each individual coverage is able to do for you in different situations. Sometimes you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time. Have you ever heard someone say that they were just “in the wrong place at the wrong time?” Well, bad events do occur randomly, unfortunately, and sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw. For example, you could be parked at a restaurant having lunch with a friend that just got back into town. It’s all laughter and fun until you get out to the parking lot and realize that someone has stolen your motorcycle. In a case like this that involves theft, you would want to make sure that you have comprehensive insurance in place. Not only will comprehensive coverage protect you in cases of theft, but it will also protect your Cleveland motorcycle in cases of vandalism, storms, and windshield damage. These are all things that happen commonly, and it would not be very fun to have one or multiple of these things happen to your motorcycle, especially if you do not have coverage. Save yourself the headache and the debt and look into comprehensive coverage today. A few other coverages… There are a few other types of motorcycle coverages offered besides your basic comprehensive and liability insurance. One additional type of coverage is collision insurance. This gives you protection in cases where you might have hit something with your motorcycle. With collision insurance, it provides coverage regardless of who is at fault. With things like collisions, you sometimes, or usually, get injuries. For example, you run a red light on accident and collide with another motorcycle at an intersection. Even if you are both lucky enough to have been going slow, there would still probably be some significant injuries. In a case like this, you would really want to make sure that you have medical payment coverage. The price of medical bills alone is a huge factor in why your motorcycle needs insurance. Trust us. These types of coverages talked about in this article are just a few of the ones that are available to motorcycle drivers/owners everywhere. There are plenty more Cleveland motorcycle insurance options available to you, so it is important to look into motorcycle insurance more in-depth to find what will be the best fit for your individual needs. We hope that we have provided a basic knowledge of what the more essential types of coverages are and have given you a better idea of why your motorcycle needs insurance. Best Christmas Tree Farms in NE Ohio
It’s that time of year again, and for those of us who are nostalgic, or just want to do our best Clark Griswold impression, it’s time to go hunt for the perfect Christmas Tree! Per usual, we’ve done some research, did some Google searches, found some awesome resources, and also explored our area in Northeast Ohio to compile a list of Christmas tree farms for you. Before we jump into the list, we want to give a shout out to www.ohiochristmastree.org, who has been a tremendous resource in helping us compile our list. We hope that this list helps you find that perfect live tree, but if you already have a favorite Christmas tree farm, be sure to share it with us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
Holiday Tips During this time of year, we tend to all be in hustle mode, trying to get from one place to another, and trying to get decorations out or clean up the house before guests arrive. We want you sympathize with you there, but we also want to throw out a few helpful holiday tips to help ensure you have a fun filled and safe holiday season. One of the first things you think about around Christmas time is your Christmas shopping list, we all do! When you are out and about doing your shopping, make sure that you are aware of your surroundings when leaving the stores and walking through the parking lots. Crime increases during the holiday season, an easy target for thieves to see is a big shopping bag held by someone who is walking out of a retail store. One thing you can do to help protect yourself is to just look around and be aware of what’s going on. Too many times today, we bury our head and attention in our cell phone, we forget to pay attention to our surroundings. If you simply keep your head on a swivel, it can help you get to your car safe and sound. Another thing to keep an eye on is your front doorstep. People typically order and receive many more packages during the holiday season than throughout the year, and burglars know it. If they can steal from you without even entering your house, they are happy to do so. You can designate an area around a corner for deliveries, or simply remember to keep an eye on your doorstep when you know a package will be arriving. If you have a trusted neighbor who stays home, you can even alert them and they may be able to hang onto the package until you’re able to get home. With the tracking technology we have today, it should be pretty easy to keep an eye open for things around the Christmas season. If you are doing your shopping online, be sure to check out our article on protecting your personal identity while shopping online, simply click here to read that article now or check out our main blog page for more articles! If you live in Ohio, you know by now that the snow is coming during the holidays. (If you’re in the Cleveland area you likely saw all of the car pileups on 90 recently, be careful out there!) With snow comes cold weather, or with cold weather comes snow, either way you should be prepared! Aside from making sure that you perform all of the recommended maintenance procedures for your car, you should always keep some extra things in your car during the cold weather seasons. You should always remember to carry a flashlight, warm clothes, an extra set of hat and gloves, a blanket, an extra power source to charge your phone (not just your car plug in), and some extra food and water in case you're stranded for an extended period of time. This may all seem a bit excessive, but it’s better to be safe than sorry! During this time of year, many people tend to burn more candles in their home than usual. While the flicker and scent of a candle can set the Christmas mood very well, you should be careful and pay attention to these burning candles. Many people will also be using their fireplaces more than usual, so make sure to have them inspected and perform the suggested maintenance before using this holiday season. Burning candles and checking the fireplace before using may seem pretty obvious, but when we get busy these are some of the things we can overlook and forget. We hope that these tips help you better enjoy this Christmas season, and allow you and your family to stay safe! Connect with Us! We would love to hear about your Holiday tips, and your favorite Christmas Tree farm in Cleveland! You can connect with us in the following ways... This is one of the many reasons that it is vital to really sit down and research or think about the importance of social media marketing for your Cleveland business Having an active social media presence can drive sales and website views. Going along with being able to reach people, your social media accounts can also prompt people to take action. Simply posting photos of your products can spark an interest in people. What do people do when they see something that interests them? They get curious and want to learn more. If you have your website linked in the post or in your biography on your social media account, this allows people to look into your products further. This does two things for you, which is why it is important to stress when talking about the importance of social media marketing for your Cleveland business. This is what creates your “brand.” Your brand is, in a way, the voice of your company. You can build your brand by being mindful of the color scheme you use in photos, for one. If you business is very modern, yet professional, maybe you want to consider using muted colors when editing your photos. When sending out tweets you may want to consider a short and concise vibe. You will want to make sure that whatever content you put out matches the vibe that you are trying to give your company. This helps your business to stand out and be unique. Although teens seem to be the most connected to technology, don’t be fooled. With social media channels such as Facebook and LinkedIn, older generations are also extremely plugged in. This all goes back to the fact that if you were to look around right now, you would likely see everyone holding a phone or using some sort of technology. Technology is here to stay, and with that comes social media platforms that you should really keep in mind when considering the importance of social media marketing for your Cleveland business.
