Why You Need to Have the Right Protection For Your Ohio Snowmobile

Why You Need to Have the Right Protection For Your Ohio Snowmobile
Having the right insurance protection for your snowmobile is something you cannot put off because there are many variables that are out of your control.  You want to get the most fun out of this winter, but being at risk is not at all a fun scenario. Making sure that you have ample insurance protection enables you to enjoy every moment without the nagging fear of the unknown.

You ensure that you have the best coverage for your car, so why would you not have the right coverage for your snowmobile’s needs? You can get the protection your recreational vehicle deserves and ensure that you can enjoy your snowmobile without constantly fearing the unpleasant surprises that the future may hold. As a responsible snowmobile owner, you want to set yourself up for years of fun and as minimal stress as possible, and finding the right Ohio insurance policy for your needs is an important part of that.

How the Right Insurance Coverage Can Help You Take Care of Your Snowmobile

While you cannot prevent every issue from coming up, you can be sure that you are prepared for whatever comes your way.  It is good to know how the right coverage can help you set yourself up for years of recreational fun in the snow:

  • Coverage for liability (including bodily injury and property damage liability) is an absolute must. If you somehow injure someone else with your snowmobile, you need to have the ability to take care of any medical costs that you find yourself responsible for. Another important thing to keep in mind is if you cause property damage, you want to have sufficient insurance coverage in place to help you remedy the damage.

  • You can get coverage for injuries as well, which is important when you are snowmobiling. Hopefully you don’t have to deal with any injury issues, but you can not just cross your fingers and hope that you never sustain injury. Life comes with risks, but you need to make sure that you are responsible and have a plan - so that if you do get injured, you can take care of it.

  • Collision coverage is important because even though you think of collision issues involving cars or other motor vehicles on the road, collisions can happen with snowmobiles as well. When you find yourself dealing with a collision and the aftermath, you want to have ample insurance protection to help you handle the situation and move forward. The right Ohio insurance coverage can help you deal with those issues and move forward.

  • Comprehensive coverage can help you deal with issues that are not accident-related. For example, if your snowmobile gets stolen, comprehensive coverage has your back. Comprehensive coverage also protects you and your snowmobile from damage caused by weather, which can be very destructive and expensive to fix. Don’t let a bad day take away your winter pastime!

Make sure that you have a good life insurance policy in place as well. There is always a risk when you use recreational vehicles, and your snowmobile is no exception. Your family will appreciate your foresight should anything happen to you prematurely, so make certain you have a good policy in place. You deserve to be able to enjoy your active lifestyle and your loved ones should be able to enjoy protection from the unexpected.

Five Ways to Help You Stick to Your New Year’s Goals

Five Ways to Help You Stick to Your New Year’s Goals
After the crazy year we just had, we are all ready for something new and better in 2021. As we all have experienced in years past, as January continues, the motivation to attain lofty goals wears off - and we are left wondering why we made those resolutions in the first place if we weren't going to stick with them.

The fact is, your resolutions are worth keeping. You made them for a reason, didn't you? They either benefit your health or your finances or enhance the time you spend with loved ones, and that is absolutely worth fighting for. The thing is, you can make whatever habits or practices you want to add your life work, you just have to make them a habit. Now, getting to the point where your resolution is a habit and not something you have to force yourself to do is the difficult part, but you survived 2020. You can absolutely win the battle with your New Year's resolutions.

Sticking With Your Goals into the New Year

You can do this. You can absolutely do this, even if it feels hard and even if you feel like you can't stick with it.  The trick is getting to the point that the new practice or routine becomes a habit - and you just have to stick with it long enough to get to that point.

  • Break your goals into manageable steps. Sometimes we can get off track simply because we try to attain our resolutions all at once. If your goal is to work out every morning before work, maybe you start out with upping your workouts from one a week to three before you go to five days a week.  When you break down your resolution into parts that can be attained sustainably, you are much more likely to be able to keep your resolutions in the long run.

  • Remember that even a little progress is progress. If you have a resolution to drink six big water bottles worth of water a day and you only manage four, have you failed? Of course not!  If you were drinking three before your resolution and you made it to four, that is something to celebrate. Progress is progress and if you regard it as such you will be far more motivated to continue in the pursuit of your goals.

  • Realize that one misstep does not ruin your goals. If you're trying to cut out sugar to the point of only having it once a week - and then you find yourself eating a cookie on a day you resolved to consume no sugar. Does that mean that your resolution is completely ruined and you might as well give up? Obviously not. Everyone makes mistakes, that is just part of being human - and it should not keep you away from getting right back on track to accomplishing your goal.

  • Don’t be hard on yourself. Don’t disregard this as a platitude - this is an incredibly important part of having long-term success.  If you beat yourself up emotionally any time you don't reach the standard you're aiming for, you are not only demoralizing yourself - you are disregarding the fact that you, by simply trying, have gotten closer to your goal.

  • Track your progress as you go.  Record your progress in a way that works for you - whether that means writing it down in a journal or in a doc on your phone, make sure that you do not lose track of how far you have come from your starting point. If you focus on how far you still have to go you can be discouraged. On the flipside, if you look back and see how far you've come, you can be encouraged to go all the way.

Making 2021 the Best Year It Can Be

No one can know what a year will bring, both in the world at large and in your own personal life, but you can be certain that you put your best foot forward and strive to be the best person you can be. Your goals are worth attaining, so go out there and reach for that high bar. Believe in yourself. You have done amazing things, and you will continue to do so as long as you press forward. Here at Cobos Insurance, we encourage you to accomplish the resolutions you set for yourself in this fresh new year...and remember to enjoy the little victories.

The Importance of Having the Right Renters Insurance in Northeast Ohio

The Importance of Having the Right Renters Insurance in Northeast Ohio
If you rent your home in Northeast Ohio, you need good renters insurance. Your landlord takes care of the basic repair issues you may face in your home, but he or she won’t be able to help should something happen to your personal effects. That means that having the right renters insurance policy is an invaluable part of taking care of your home and your household so that an unpleasant turn of events doesn’t catch you off-guard.

How the Right Ohio Renters Insurance Coverage Can Help You Protect Your Home

You don't want to leave the well being of your belongings up to chance. Even if you are extremely careful, you cannot prevent every type of disaster from happening to your residence, which is why having the right protection in place is such an important step. Let’s look at what good protection can do for your situation:

  • Coverage for your personal property is, of course, a must. Regardless of how good a landlord you have, he or she will most likely not take responsibility for your items should they be destroyed or simply even damaged. Your valuables, ranging from your electronics to your fine jewelry to your collectibles, you have valuable belongings and you do not want to suffer a complete loss of these items.

  • Your personal belongings are exactly that: personal, valuable, and important to you. Northeast Ohio renters insurance provides coverage for theft and vandalism so that you don't have to scramble to find a way to replace your items should they be stolen. While you cannot recreate sentimental value, you can relieve some of the financial burden by having the right insurance coverage in place.

  • This may be a surprise to you, but renters insurance coverage offers coverage for belongings in your car. Should someone break into your car and steal from you, Ohio renters insurance can help you replace those items. It is never pleasant to have to deal with theft issues, but when you have sufficient insurance protection at the ready, you don't have to handle the costs on your own. Just like you make sure that you have the right coverage for your vehicle, ample insurance for the belongings in your car is a valuable protection.

  • Protection for fire damage is a key part of insuring your rented home, because as we all know, fire can be a terrifying threat to your home and all your belongings. The right policy means you don’t have to live in fear of the unknown - and that peace of mind is priceless. Coverage for storm damage is also a huge benefit because you have no control over the weather or acts of nature. You do, however, have the means to prepare yourself for the storms that come your home’s way, so don’t settle for less than the right storm coverage for your situation.

  • You can also get coverage for the cost of somewhere to stay temporarily if your home is uninhabitable due to a disaster or catastrophe. If there’s a fire or significant storm damage and the structure is compromised, you don’t want to make a bad situation worse by not having a place to stay. We encourage you to not leave it up to chance when you can be armed for the unexpected.

We all have to deal with unforeseen variables at one point or another, so we need to be prepared for whatever comes our way.  Just because you don't own your home doesn't mean that you shouldn't be well insured and prepared for any ups and downs that come along in the future, so take the time to select the best policy for your home.

Finding the Renters Insurance Policy That Meets Your Needs In Northeast Ohio

While finding the best fit for your rental home can feel overwhelming, help from the right Northeast Ohio insurance agency can help you find the protection you deserve. Your Cobos Insurance agent is here to help you navigate the ins and outs of Ohio renters insurance so that you can make an informed choice about how to best insure your rented home - and that can benefit you and your household for years to come.

As a business owner, you want your Cleveland used car dealership to be set up for long-term success. Having the right insurance protection is an invaluable facet of protecting your business from any unexpected issues that come up, and you should be able to have the best insurance coverage for your situation.

You don’t have to settle for less than the policy that fits your dealership when you can have the coverage that can give you peace of mind. Your used car dealership is a strong business, but issues can wreak havoc on the best of organizations. Someone in your position wants to have the right protection ready should your business have to deal with a mishap or disaster in the future, and a great policy can do that for you.

How the Right Used Car Dealership Coverage Can Protect Your Business

Even the most prepared used car dealership owner can be blindsided by unforeseen issues, so knowing how you can set your business up for long-term success in an uncertain environment is a must. Here are some important facets of a good Cleveland used car dealership insurance policy:

  • Dealers open lot coverage is important because it deals with physical damage situations. It also includes comprehensive coverage, which protects your business from storm damage, damage caused by nature, and theft issues. Dealers open lot coverage helps you handle the unpredictable disasters and issues that physical damage situations can procure - and that is no small thing for a used car dealership owner.

  • Garage liability coverage covers liability situations involving your used car dealership's garage. Protect your dealership’s garage with effective coverage; liability scenarios can come up in the blink of an eye. Since maintenance mishaps can be disastrous for your business, having the right coverage for your situation and your unique business is invaluable.

  • False pretense coverage is important for a car dealership because if someone uses another name to test drive a vehicle and then steals it, you could be out thousands of dollars. While you never want to have to deal with such a scenario, you could very well find yourself facing a false pretense issue at some point, so being prepared is a necessity.

  • Auto liability coverage helps you deal with accidents involving your used car dealership’s vehicles, which is a valuable benefit for your lot. Legal issues can drain your business’ resources and bankrupt its reputation, so having the right coverage can save you a lot of trouble. Since lawsuits can be a headache for everyone involved, arm yourself with the best coverage for your business autos - chances are, you will thank yourself later.

  • Optional inventory coverage takes care of physical loss or damage caused by someone or something outside your business. Insurance protection for physical loss and damage is a crucial part of setting your business up to thrive in the world we live in. Since there is no way that you can control external issues, having ample insurance coverage at the ready can be one of the best things you do for your business.

Why leave your used car dealership’s well-being up to chance? You don't have to take the first policy that comes your way when you can have the help you need in order to acquire the best policy for your business, so talk with your Cobos insurance agent about any questions or concerns you may have about your specific insurance needs. After all, you should not have to wonder whether or not you are sufficiently prepared for the ups and downs that come with any business endeavor when you can be certain that you have the right policy in place.

Making Sure Your Vehicles Are Ready For Winter in Avon Lake

12/17/2020

Avon Lake is a wonderful place to live, and having Lake Erie nearby is just another amazing perk. However, being right off the lake means that we face chill winds, dangerous road conditions, and poor visibility due to winter weather, so it is imperative that we prepare our vehicles for the icy road ahead. While you cannot prevent some issues from arising, you can prevent unnecessary problems by ensuring that your vehicle is ready for the cold months in Avon Lake.

Having the right coverage to safeguard your vehicle is a must, but it is also important to make sure that you don't find yourself dealing with unnecessary issues. Preparing your car or truck for the freezing temperatures means that you can have some well-deserved peace of mind, so don’t wait to be hit with raging weather before you prep your car or truck for another Northeast Ohio winter.

Preparing Your Vehicle For Winter in Northeast Ohio

Winters in Avon Lake can be fierce, and since in Ohio we can never be quite sure when the cold weather will decide to slam us, it is important that we waste no time in preparing our vehicles for the freezing temperatures.

  • Take care of any potential issues your car may have. In the summertime, you can sometimes get away with waiting a week to have something minor checked out (though it is certainly not recommendable). Not so in the winter; in the freezing winter months, even a minor situation can get blown out of proportion if it is not handled right away. Don’t allow a little problem to become a major issue when you can get your vehicle checked out by a professional so that you can drive into winter in confidence.

  • Checking your car’s battery is a must. Freezing temperatures can destroy weak batteries, and you don't want to find yourself dealing with a dead battery in the dead of winter if you can take steps to prevent that from happening. While it's always important to have your car battery in good condition, it is especially valuable in the freezing temperatures.

  • Install those winter wiper blades. Visibility is incredibly important when it comes to being safe on the road (especially an icy road), so having good winter wiper blades is an important aspect of preparing your car for the ice and snow. Remember to check your windshield wiper fluid because if it runs low, you could end up with frozen windshield wiper fluid - and that is not something you want to have to deal with this winter. Depending on your car's needs, you may need to get a winter formula, so that is something to consider.

  • Be sure to check your tire pressure as well. Icy roads and low tire pressure is a recipe for disaster - and motor vehicle accidents. Don't put yourself in the way of unnecessary danger by not checking your tire pressure. Of course, you cannot prevent every type of catastrophe from happening, but you can absolutely be proactive and make sure that your tires are ready for the chilly road ahead. You will feel safer when you know that you have taken the time to set your tires up for success over icy roads.

  • Ensuring that you have a good cover for your vehicle is also a must if your car is going to spend any time at all outside of a garage.  The winter elements can be savage on an unprotected car or truck, so make certain that your car cover is up to the task. If not, investing in a good car cover can make a huge difference for your vehicle as we head into the winter months.

Protecting Your Vehicle So That You Can Enjoy Your Avon Lake Winter

While it takes a little upfront work, preparing your vehicle for our unpredictable Northeast Ohio winters can be a lifesaver. Don’t allow the ice and snow to catch you off guard this year when you can take the necessary steps to prepare your car for this winter season. Appropriate car insurance coverage is a vital part of protecting your car as well, so be sure to talk with your insurance agent about the best coverage to protect your vehicle.

Here at Cobos Insurance, we know well how Avon Lake winters can affect cars and trucks and we encourage you to prepare your vehicle for the season ahead. Call us at our Avon Lake office at 440-933-5223 or at our Elyria office at 440-324-3732; contact us today so we can help you safeguard your vehicle with an insurance policy that meets your needs.

Five Ways to Make the Holidays Merrier in Cleveland This Year

12/8/2020

Cleveland Ohio Christmas traditions
It's the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays can be a busy, hectic time, but it doesn't have to be that way with a little bit of prep work. This year has made it harder to do more out-and-about activities, and coming up with a variety of fun things to do around your home is high on your list of priorities. We want to make your busy Christmas season a little easier, so we have compiled five fun ways to make your holidays merrier in Cleveland, Ohio. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Five Ideas to Help You Celebrate the Holidays in Cleveland This Year

We have our own holiday traditions, but we all need a little help coming up with fun, unique ways to make Christmas extra special - especially in a year like this one. Mix and match to find your own favorite ways to celebrate.

  • Decorate a gingerbread house with the younger members of your family - you will be amazed at how creative your loved ones are. This is a great bonding activity for the family and you'll end up with adorable decorative gingerbread houses to place on your shelf or mantelpiece. Be sure to take some pictures to capture the memories.

  • Get a treat-filled advent calendar. If you have kids, you can opt for an advent calendar with their favorite toy brand or candy - they will eagerly await getting to open a new surprise each morning. However, advent calendars aren't just for kids. For the adults in your house, there are beautiful advent calendars that are filled with gourmet chocolates, handy little gadgets, make-up, or even wine. Why wait for that Christmas morning excitement when you can have a taste of it the entire month of December?

  • Make homemade Christmas cards with your family. This is a wonderful activity because not only is it a great way to spend time with your family but it is also a great way to spread Christmas cheer far and wide.  Who doesn't love getting a heartfelt Christmas card, especially if it is handmade? There are many creative and easy methods to creating Christmas cards - and you can find online instructions to fit any skill level. Brighten someone's day and make them a custom Christmas card.

  • If you are unable to see family over the holiday season, have a virtual cookie recipe swap. You never know what you will learn - you might find out how to make your aunt's famous gingerbread or learn a new variety of sugar cookie from a cousin. Get everyone on a video chat together or even just do a group text to share the recipes - and let the deliciousness begin.

  • Deck the halls!  Decorating for Christmas is always an event, but make it extra special time with your family this year. Go the whole nine yards - make your tree the best it can be and decorate your windows with LED light candles or greenery.  We've all spent a lot more time in the house this year, so let's make our homes the coziest and the most joyful they can be. Make some hot chocolate and pull out some Christmas cookies and have a jolly time decorating with your family.

Think back to Christmases during your childhood; you remember the little things, don't you? It's the little touches that make the holidays so special and so full of joy and love. Don't get lost in the big things to the point that you lose sight of the little moments that make the holidays precious.

Making Your Cleveland Christmas One to Remember

However you choose to celebrate the holidays in Cleveland, make sure that you let your loved ones know how much they mean to you and how blessed you are to have them in your life. Years from now when you look back at this Christmas season, you're going to remember the time you spent with them and the effort you put into making them feel special.

At Cobos Insurance, we believe in the value of each and every day, and we encourage you to enjoy this holiday season to the fullest and to make some memories that last a lifetime. Whether you find your new favorite activity on our list or end up combining a few to make your own merry traditions, be sure to make this holiday season one you look back on fondly.

Ohio Vacant Home Insurance That Fits Your Needs

12/3/2020

Ohio Vacant Home Insurance That Fits Your Needs
If you are putting a house on the market, vacant home insurance can be an invaluable tool as you prepare to lease or sell the structure. First things first; let’s define "vacant home" to avoid confusion. A vacant home can be classified as vacant if the property is empty and does not contain personal items. A secondary house is not a vacant home because you keep belongings there even when you are at your primary residence. However, a house on the market waiting to be rented or even sold is considered a vacant house because it is sitting empty and no one is living there. It is important to keep this in mind: after anywhere from 30-60 days, your home will officially be classified as vacant and your homeowners policy will no longer be in play, so switching to good vacant home coverage is not something that should be put off.

You wouldn't have anything less than the best Ohio insurance coverage for your lived-in home, so make certain that you protect your vacant home's value with the same thoroughness. Unsurprisingly, a vacant home is exposed to greater risk than a lived-in home because no one is there to deter vandals or to prevent water damage issues from becoming catastrophic. While it would be oh-so-nice to never have to deal with unexpected issues and losses, those are just a part of life - and though no one can avoid all potential disasters, you can be ready to handle whatever issue comes your home's way by having the right Ohio insurance coverage in place.

Safeguarding Your Vacant Home With the Right Ohio Insurance Policy

Your home is a significant asset, and as it sits vacant, you don't want anything to diminish the value it has. It is helpful to you as a homeowner to understand what the right coverage can do for your Ohio vacant home:

  • Of course, loss coverage is an irreplaceable part of protecting your vacant home. If you have a covered loss, this coverage can help you deal with those expenses and move forward in a timely fashion. The fact is, you shouldn’t have to deal with loss without the best coverage for your needs - and you also shouldn't have to wonder if you have the coverage that can get the job done. That's why when it comes to protecting your property, loss coverage is a peerless asset.

  • Limited theft coverage helps you cover the cost of replacing property due to theft or vandalism. Unfortunately, a vacant home is far more vulnerable to the dangers of theft or vandalism than a home brimming with people and activity, so limited theft coverage is an invaluable feature. Don't allow the actions of others to drain you financially when you can be prepared for such a scenario.

  • While your home is waiting to be sold or rented out, you want it to be safeguarded from the danger of water damage that can wash away so much of the value you have poured into your home. Damage caused by a ruined sump pump or sewage backed up in your home’s drains can devastate your vacant home, costing you thousands of unplanned dollars. The last thing you want as you are preparing to lease or sell your home is to find that you are dealing with water damage, but having the right insurance coverage for your situation can greatly lessen the burden.

Issues come up, but they don’t have to take a sledgehammer to the time and investment you’ve put into your vacant home. When you have the right Ohio insurance coverage for your situation, you can focus on finding the perfect tenant or buyer instead of worrying about the building’s well being - and that can be a game-changer for you.

Insuring Your Vacant Home With the Right Insurance Coverage

You want to have the right protection for your specific situation, so talk with your Ohio insurance agent about the coverage your vacant home deserves. While searching for the best coverage for your vacant home can seem like an overwhelming task, it doesn't have to be when you have the guidance you need.

Here at Cobos Insurance, we know that your vacant home is far too valuable to allow unforeseen issues to depreciate its value. We believe that you shouldn’t have to guess when it comes to protecting an asset as significant as a vacant home and that you shouldn’t settle for less than the protection you deserve. Call us at our Avon Lake office at 440-933-5223 or at our Elyria office at 440-324-3732; contact us today so that we can help you protect your vacant home with the best coverage for its situation.

What You Need to Know About Ohio Auto Insurance in Avon Lake

11/25/2020

Avon Lake ohio car insurance
Understandably, your car insurance needs are a high priority to you. Having the right car insurance policy for your  vehicle is no small thing. You cannot allow an accident or other circumstance to catch you unawares, and having the right insurance coverage is a necessary part of protecting you and your family on the Avon Lake road ahead.

As an Ohio car owner, you want to be safeguarded from the mishaps and disasters that can come up at the most inconvenient times, and having an appropriate policy in place can greatly help with that. While you can not guarantee that there won't be issues down the road, you can be sure that you're not underinsured for those situations - and that can offer you some much-deserved peace of mind.

The Benefits of Having the Right Insurance For Your Avon Lake Vehicle

Since your vehicle plays such a vital role in your day-to-day activities, properly insuring your vehicle with the right insurance coverage in Avon Lake is something that has a significant impact on your everyday life. Understanding what the right policy can do for you can be tremendously beneficial:

  • Property damage liability coverage is an indispensable aspect of a good Ohio auto insurance policy. While property damage liability issues can come in a variety of shapes and sizes, you don't have to let one unfortunate situation deplete your finances. Having good property damage liability coverage can save you and your family a lot of frustration in the future.

  • Collision coverage is a key aspect of Ohio car insurance, one that probably is at the forefront of your mind. This covers the damage done to your vehicle should it be involved in an accident or other collision. This is no insignificant protection, and every driver should be armed with ample collision coverage in Avon Lake.

  • Comprehensive coverage deals with non-accident related damage, such as theft and vandalism as well as nature-caused destruction like hail and windstorms. No one wants to deal with theft or vandalism situations involving their car, but it is absolutely necessary to be sufficiently covered for those types of circumstances. It is also important to be prepared to handle nature's volatility, and having ample coverage for weather-caused issues is indispensable in Northeast Ohio.

  • Bodily injury liability coverage is an incredibly important facet of Ohio auto insurance because this covers the costs involved with the injuries of the other driver and the other driver’s passengers. Medical payment coverage helps you deal with the costs of your medical expenses should you sustain injury. It also covers your passengers’ medical needs should an accident result in bodily harm. No one should have to go without necessary medical care, so both coverages are invaluable.

  • The benefits of good uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage should not be underappreciated. As hard as it is to believe, there are drivers on the road who have insufficient coverage for their vehicles. It goes without saying that if you find yourself in a collision with one of them, you are going to need good uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage. There is absolutely no reason for you to suffer because of someone else's lack of responsibility.

While you cannot foretell the future, you can ensure that you are well informed and prepared to handle whatever comes your way. Having the right Avon Lake insurance policy for your car can be a game-changer for your vehicle and because of that, it is not something to take lightly.

Finding the Auto Insurance Coverage That Meets Your Needs In Avon Lake

Don't be content with a so-so policy when you can have the best fit for your vehicle; it can make a world of difference in the long run, so talk with your Northeast Ohio insurance agent about your vehicle’s insurance needs. Five Fun Ways to Celebrate Thanksgiving In Cleveland This Year
When you think of Thanksgiving, you probably think of the delicious food and being with the ones you love most. Unfortunately, this Thanksgiving, we might find ourselves separated from some of our relatives due to the pandemic. While we cannot control the circumstances that we find ourselves facing, we can put in a little extra effort and make it a special holiday this year.

We cannot take this beautiful holiday for granted. As with any holiday that has long-standing traditions, sometimes we forget to seek out new ways to make it memorable. However, with a little bit of planning and intentionality, you can make this year's Thanksgiving one that you remember positively for years to come.

Five Ideas to Help You Celebrate Thanksgiving in Cleveland

We all could use some extra joy this holiday season - so let's make this one to remember, both for family members who can be with us and family members who cannot. Since even the most creative of us Clevelanders need a few ideas now and again, we have five fun ways for you to make the very most of this Thanksgiving.

  • Send Thanksgiving cards to your loved ones. It may surprise you, but you can find amazing Thanksgiving cards at almost any shop where you buy your birthday and Christmas cards. It is always a good year to send a Thanksgiving card to your aunt to brighten her day, but if you won’t be able to see your extended relatives this year, it is an especially good time to send some cheerful Thanksgiving notes. It is a perfect way to let your loved ones know that you are grateful for them - and since it's a physical piece of paper, they can cherish your words for many years to come.

  • Video chat with your relatives who cannot visit with you in person this year. If you are feeling disappointed that you won't be able to see grandma over Thanksgiving, video chat with those you can't be with. It's not quite the same thing, we know, but it is so nice to be able to connect and see each other's faces even if we're miles apart. Your extended family will appreciate getting to spend that time with you, and seeing their smiles will brighten your holiday.

  • Deck the halls with Thanksgiving decor.  This is especially fun if you have younger children in the house. Decorate your home with bright construction paper leaves or pumpkins or go the more sophisticated route and decorate with cornucopias and real squashes.  Soon enough, our homes will be full of beautiful Christmas decorations, but let's enjoy the lovely Cleveland fall colors while we can.

  • Try out a few new desserts for Thanksgiving. That isn't to say that you should kick out your traditional favorites, of course, but adding in some wonderful new desserts can liven up your wonderful Thanksgiving spread. Try a pie you haven't attempted before, with a filling you've only fantasized about using. This is Thanksgiving after all - there's no judgment here, even if the new treats don't become yearly favorites, they will still be enjoyable additions to this year's meal.

  • Have a holiday movie marathon.  Sometimes a holiday movie marathon is just what you need, and when you are stuffed full of stuffing (and all the other good Thanksgiving treats), relaxing with your family and watching feel-good holiday movies is a cozy way to pass the afternoon or evening.  You can even plan on watching the same movies as relatives who cannot come visit and enjoy the long-distance experience together in spirit even if you are physically apart. Comfort, coziness, gratitude -  Thanksgiving is about togetherness, and this is a wonderful way to spend time together.

Thanksgiving may be an annual thing, but it is worth enjoying and celebrating every time we get to experience it; it is an American tradition like no other, and you deserve to have a beautiful Cleveland Thanksgiving.

Here at Cobos Insurance, we believe that the joy of Thanksgiving is something worth celebrating no matter how crazy our year has been. Even if you cannot have all of your relatives over this year, you can enjoy the holiday with enthusiasm and thankfulness and little creativity. We encourage you to be safe and to enjoy your Thanksgiving in Cleveland to the utmost.

Finding the Right Ohio Social Services Insurance Policy In Elyria

Finding the Right Ohio Social Services Insurance Policy In Elyria
When you have an Ohio non-profit organization, you need the right social service insurance to safeguard it from the unexpected issues that can arise at the worst times. You make a huge difference in Elyria, and you want to ensure that you are able to carry out your mission for years to come.  No one wants to consider that their organization might get sued or might sustain significant financial damage, but it can and does happen. That's why having a policy that fits your situation is so vital.

From safeguarding your organization to finding quality volunteers, you have enough on your plate already - you don't need to add constant worry of the unknown mishaps that can come your organization’s way. Having sufficient insurance coverage in place to help you keep your organization functioning with excellence is a necessity - and your non-profit only deserves the best. While you cannot control what comes up tomorrow, the good news is you can be ready for it.

Protecting Your Social Services Organization With the Right Insurance Coverage

The fact is, it can be all too easy to get caught up in the unknowns that can throw your organization off balance, but it is far more profitable to channel that focus into finding the policy that can effectively protect your non-profit.

  • Liability protection is an important part of setting your Elyria organization up to thrive, regardless of any mishaps or disasters. The thing is, issues come up, injuries occur sometimes, and damages can surface. Ample liability coverage protects your organization from liability issues (ranging from the roof being stripped by a storm to an injury occurring on your premises) that can financially drain your Elyria non-profit.

  • Theft coverage is, unfortunately, an invaluable aspect of insuring your social services. While it is never fun to think about the loss that theft can inflict, it is important that you have a plan in place should a theft situation occur. If you find yourself dealing with a scenario that involves an employee stealing from the organization, it is imperative that you have nothing less than excellent Ohio theft coverage.

  • Coverage for directors and officers covers conflict of interest as well as issues involving allegations of misconduct. Directors and officers have significant responsibilities and represent the organization, and you don’t want a sticky situation to ruin your social service non-profit’s reputation.

  • Vehicles often play a large role in social services organizations. That’s why auto insurance coverage for the organization’s vehicles is indispensable. Auto issues are never pleasant, but when it involves a non-profit’s vehicles, the aftermath can be disastrous and financially devastating.

  • If your organization needs another layer of protection, Ohio umbrella insurance coverage can cover the gap amount should a claim exceed your policy.  Your social service organization is far too valuable (and touches too many individuals) to allow a disaster to destroy it.

Don't settle for the first policy that comes your way when you can have the policy that properly fits your Elyria social service organization. The fact is, having the right protection can make a night-and-day difference for you should you find yourself in such a situation.

Finding the Right Coverage For Your Elyria Social Service

You want only the best protection for your organization, so make sure that you talk with your Ohio insurance agent about your specific coverage needs. While you cannot know what will come up down the road, you can be certain that you have the best policy at the ready.  It has taken time, commitment, and investment to make your social service organization everything but it is today, and it is important to make sure that it can be all that it was meant to be in the days ahead.

Here at Cobos Insurance, we know that you do amazing work in your social service organization, and we want you to have the best insurance protection for your needs. Call us at our Elyria office at 440-324-3732 or our Avon Lake office at 440-933-5223; you can contact us today so that we can help you find the best insurance coverage for your social service organization in Elyria. Setting your organization up for long-term success is not only responsible, it is an invaluable part of protecting everyone involved in your Ohio non-profit.
